Senator Claims His Neuralink Was Hacked During Scandalous Video
Future Fake News - August 19, 2039
WASHINGTON, DC — Senator Jim Frowley spoke to the press today to address the controversy after a video surfaced online of him inappropriately touching an office aid and using sexually lurid language. The Ohio Senator admits it was him in the video, but says he cannot be held accountable for that behavior because his Neuralink brain-computer interface (BCI) implant had been hacked at the time. Frowley stated, “My body and speech were being controlled through the cloud by malicious actors intent on smearing my public reputation.”
Despite mounting pressure from the media, Ohio voters, and his colleagues on Capitol Hill, Frowley says he has no intention to resign from his senatorial position. He instead insists a full-scale investigation be launched into the Neuralink hack, alleging foul play from Clare Penfield, his opponent in this November’s upcoming election.
Penfield and her campaign team have denied any involvement in the mind-hack, which they claim never happened and is “just an excuse conjured by Frowley to evade consequences for his reprehensible actions.”
Senator Frowley has reportedly hired a new cybersecurity firm to upgrade the encryption software of his Neuralink BCI in hopes of preventing any further brain hacks in the future.
